The company achieves this by providing members with knowledge, know how, intellectual property, specialist resources and research infrastructure that are: • developed through research investment • delivered to members through knowledge management activities and a communication strategy • accessed by members through the communication strategy and commercial operations that include innovation services, culture products and IP management. Dairy Innovation activities include: • Research • Research Management • Research Funding • ContractResearch / Commercial Services • Commercial Products (bulk starter cultures and special cultures) • Training (studentships) Our activities are conducted across portfolios grouping activity interests and cover areas from dairy ingredients and applications to process design and improvement. The scope of these activities is continuously informed and revised in response to strategic activities that include: • Foresighting and scenario planning • Ideas generation and evaluation • Financial management • Member liaison • Development of innovation capability of DIAL staff, its members and research partners • Management of strategic alliances. |
